Fiji Tap
A wallet-neutral tap-to-pay SoftPOS demonstration showing M-PAiSA, MyCash and Visa transactions on a single terminal interface.
The problem and the approach
Fiji Tap is a browser-based simulation of a multi-wallet SoftPOS terminal. It demonstrates how a single point-of-sale device could accept Vodafone M-PAiSA, Digicel MyCash and Visa contactless payments without requiring separate hardware for each rail.
The prototype is a working simulation only — it does not connect to any payment network, does not process real transactions and does not hold or move funds. Every transaction shown is a simulated demonstration with a disclaimer displayed on screen.
